Lump in lower abdomen

I have had a lump/ swelling in my lower right abdomen for 3 or 4 months now and suspected it might be a hernia.

I went to the GP who said it wasn't a hernia but she could feel a lumpy mass. It hurts when pressed and quite a lot of the other time too. Sometimes it's quote sharp, like stabbing pain.

I have a scan next week to find out what it is. I have lost weight too, I'm thinking maybe an ovarian cyst or fibroids?

I was just wondering if anyone had had anything similar?
