I like the classic apple, celery, carrot, cucumber and ginger. The ginger gives it a nice kick.

My absolute favorite is a simple carrot apple and ginger, although I am also quite fond of pineapple and nectarine. Both served over copious amounts of ice. Yum!

My favorite juice recipe consists of a couple of beetroot, a stick of celery a couple of carrots, an apple and a piece of root ginger. A great refreshing energy-lifting, immune-boosting drink to get your day f to a flying start.

4 stalks of celery
1 lemon, unpeeled
1 Apple

I've got 2 that I can't choose between:
1 is the classic - 2 apples, 2 carrots, half a lime and a small piece of ginger.
2 is all green - 1 green apple, 1 whole (!) cucumber, a handful of spinach and a large handful of mint. The mint really makes it sparkle.

I'm not very adventurous so just tend to stick to fruit- strawberry and banana, orange, pineapple and mango. I like the sound of the carrot, apple and ginger and would love to try more vegetable juices.

We used to like a grapefruit and lemon juice with hot water and honey, first thing in the morning! Felt like I was being healthy and set me up for the day. Would love to try more though, so really looking forward to keeping an eye on other people's ideas- winning the juicer would be excellent too, our old one got thrown away!

My zingy morning starter is:
Handful of kale
Half a stick of raw rhubarb
Squeeze of lime
A teaspoon of turmeric
Coconut water as required.

That'll wake you up!

My favourite breakfast (when I still had my lovely Phillips juicer Sad), was:-

1 unwaxed lime
2 apples
2 sticks celery
1/2 cucumber
handful spinach
1 ripe avocado
1 teaspoon wheatgrass powder

The avocado and wheatgrass are added after juicing the rest, then blended to make a nutritious low-sugar tasty and filling creamy smoothie that gives enough energy to start the day on pre-workout and not get hungry until elevenses Smile
