teeth

can anyone let me know if the big teeth that come through in babies cause more pain than others.
ive a one year old who has 6 teeth and there was no real problems.but for the last few days shes crying,hot but no tempreture and just not herself.noticed the bottom big teeth are coming through.help as getting concerned.she eating drinking normal

Hi mummysue ... I can only imagine that it does cause more pain .. I think my ds was more grizzly with his molars .. because the teeth are double edged so more surface area to cut through! Lots of tlc and failing that calpol! I used the teething powders which are quite effective along with the odd ice lolly!

Mine were definitely grotty with molars - hardly noticed the incisors coming through but the molars caused quite a bit of distress. Poor little things.

thanks for that,she seems much better today.going around biting her nan like a little puppy haha.giving her neorophen and bonjela,but dont think its working for her.
