Truncal lymphoedema

Any experts or fellow sufferers out there? I have this since a lumpectomy and node clearance a few years ago. The lymphoedema builds up in the underside of my left Breast and in my side. I attend a lymphoedema clinic. They offer me exercises, but no MLD massage.
Lymphoedema pops up in the arm, more usually.
Please can anyone help with some advice about how to get this lymph on the move?

Hi, I have Lymphoedema in the arm and breast. Arm is easy as I wear a sleeve and that helps a lot. But in the breast it's slightly trickier. I find massaging the breast away from my Lymph arm, helps.

Did the clinic show you how to do your own massage to drain the fluid? Or if you have a partner maybe they could help. You need to find which of your lymph pathways are still working and drain towards them! But remember to clear the pathways first! All very confusing, but hope it makes some sort of sense.

Also I believe their are compression garments that you can get for truncal Lymphoedema, although I'm guessing they won't be the height of fashion, they might help?!

Good Luck xx

Thanks, Love for your reply. Glad I'm not alone! I had proper MLD massage when I lived in another country, so was lucky, but it's obviously an ongoing problem.
Will Google compression garments!
