Title says it all really - she is completely snotty and has been awake every hour for the past two nights coughing and struggling to breathe.
GP gave her antibiotics, and she had 3 doses yesterday. However gave her one dose this morning and 20 mins later she threw up and I guess all the antibiotics came with it (sorry if tmi). Should I give her more antibiotics or wait until lunchtime for what should have been her second dose?
TIA
Bellie

When I asked the GP about this they said 20 minutes is enough for nearly all of it to have been absorbed, so you should be alright to leave it for the next one. I would do that unless the child had been sick immediately, I think.

check with the GP or NHS direct. If it was a liquid some was probably absorbed in that time, maybe not if it was a capsule or a tablet.

Thanks - it was liquid so at least some of it would have been absorbed. I think I will wait until lunchtime for the next one.
