Can you take a skin, hair & nails supplement & a multi vitamin

I usually take a multi vitamin but wondered if a skin, hair & nails supplement would cause an overdose of certain vitamins. I lost a lot of hair after having my girls & it has never recovered. I take Spa tone as my iron is low but thought I'd try a supplement to see if that helped.
