she was not crying and did not have any other symptoms what would you think it was? DD keeps doing it. She might even be enjoying it as she can be laughing while doing it. I have booked GP apt just for them to have a look but anyone else experience this?

My dd did this a lot - I think she just liked the feel of them ! Almost as if she had "found them" and wanted to keep touching them iykwim ?

Soemoen told me it was sign of ear infection - but she never had one !

I think her molars are coming through so it could be connected to that. She shows no signs of pain I would associate with infection.

Could be a comfort thing - if her molars are coming through she prob has dull ache in that area - and pulling her ears feels nice and maybe helps the pain a bit ?

Good idea to see GP to rule out infection though.

Poor lamb - molars hurt !

i would see your doctor, ds1 used to do this when he was little and it always proved to be ear ache or an infection

my dd did this while teething but as you say didnt seem bothered in any other way.She did it at 6 mths though but it sounds very likely if you think molars are coming through. She would be miserable if it was ear infection surely?

That's what I thought. I have had an ear infection with burst ear drum and it was up there with labour. She seems to pull them when happy and sad. Doc apt not until next Mon.
