Self explanatory really. Am quite nervous. Will everything be 'dragged up' or not?
Any indication of what i can expect would be great.
Thanks

tis really positive stuff IMO....it is a way to 'reset' your thinking..obviously, need to look at what has happened to make you behave a certain way...but focus on the positive future..

I found it v sensible and helpful-it has reduced the amount of worrying i do.

It did involve a lot of writing things down in charts between sessions (builds up gradually). Eventually write what i thought in situation, why i though that, what supports that thoguht, what does not support it, etc, and then the clever bit, you have to write down a balanced thought about situation (ie what a sensible person would think in the circumstances), quite illuminating! I would recommend it.

not a very dragging up sort of thearpy tbh.

will look at your thought patterns (the cognitive bit) and your resultant behaviour (the behavioural bit) and at rejigging them (through awareness and hard work changing those stuck patterns).

it may make you want to go for a therapy that does do some dredging!
