Mri Results/Gallbladder

Had an Mri to investigate gallbladder problems ten days ago. They think I've probably got stones although none showed on a recent ultrasound although gallbladder was inflamed. Does anyone know what happens next? I had a referral to surgeons from gp but ended up in a & e who referred me for mri but still haven't heard from original referral so have no idea who to contact to chase results.
My mum thinks because I haven't heard anything that they probably haven't found anything but I still need follow up as still having lots of symptoms.
Really don't want to end up back in a & e before I get any answers.

If they do remove gallbladder any idea how long I may have to wait?
