Any dentists around?

I have a problem with my top incisor. Feels (using my tongue) like there is a teeny hole in the bottom edge of it and since lunchtime it's been sending twingey shock like pains up my teeth. I can bite on it but eating soup made it twinge. Bending down to put my shoes on made it really twinge. I live in a rural area (only just moved here and yet to register with a dentist) and can't find anyone to see me. The emergency dentist service at the minor injuries unit can't see me til Monday. All of which would be fine if I weren't flying to the US on Sunday. Hmm I'm not in severe pain (not in any pain when it's not twingeing) and my face isn't swollen. It's definitely the tooth not my sinuses. I guess if it comes to it I'll have to find an emergency dentist in the US using my insurance cover but can anyone reassure me that my tooth isn't suddenly going to split into pieces on the flight and cause untold agony? I have no history of dental issues and haven't had a filling since I was a child. I get a check up once a year and this year's is due about now but has been delayed by the move. Typical...
