Period not as heavy/painful/hellish, is it the Levothyroxine?

Have been on 100mcg of Levo (Hashimoto's) for 3 weeks now. My latest period is not as heavy, painful and is already petering out on day 4. It feels like a miracle! Is it a one off or has this happened to others?

Been TTC for over two years. Have endometriosis and usually have horrific, 10 day long periods including flooding, hundreds of little clots and awful burning pains. I want to believe it's the meds, I feel much better in myself already so they must be taking effect. By the same token, I don't want to get my hopes up in case next months is awful as usual!

Has Levo eased anyone else's monthly misery?

Most probably. I am Hypo and at first the Levo helped me but I developed fibroids and needed help from Gynae at hospital.
If you are TTC, please don't wait. Get to GP and get a referral because it will most likely only get worse without medical intervention.

It can certainly do odd things to periods. I hadn't had one for nearly a year when I started Levo. Within three months they were back!

Mine are definitely lighter and less painful when my medication is right and pmt seems more manageable. When I am under or overmedicated my period pain is much worse.
