Blocked sinus - how to clear?

My left sinus is completely blocked, I can't breathe through it at all. I've been using over the counter sinus spray but no help. I can sense it is blocked about half way along under my eye and above a tooth and am worried it is the tooth that is causing the problem - I have a phobia about dentists. I also feel a bit of relief when I rub the join with my ear at my cheek.
Any ideas of how I can relieve this? There is no pain as such, just tenderness and pressure.
Would a sinus bath help? What do I do?

I suffer from this. If you grate some ginger into boiled water and drink, making sure the water isn't too hot. It is totally disgusting to drink. I put a teaspoonful of sugar in to make it bearable. The upside is that it blasts open all the blocked tubes in my head. Good luck!

Steam your head over boiling water under a towel, look up sinus massage, a walk outside in the cold always makes my nose run Smile

Sit down - Tilt your head back a little & find the dip where the top of your spine meets your skull, tilt forward slightly when you've found it - now press & massage around this dip in circular movement for a minute - this might make you feel a bit light headed, even be a little painful, but keep at it

This should clear your sinuses & last for quite a while - there's other pressure point massage hot spots, but I find this is the only one that last

Saline nasal washouts. Read about it on here, googled and now I can sleep in the same bed as DP again as it's cured his recent heavy snoring! Oh and we just used the little jug that comes with the iron to fill it up, didn't buy a posh nose jug.

I have a hot cup of tea/lemon &honey/whatever and place it on my face. May not be the long term, medically approved solution but the relief is almost instant and it gets me through days at work!

Thank you all for the tips, I will try them. I went out last night to walk the dog after posting this and the clear air sorted it, but it's all blocked up again tonight. It's driving me nuts!
