I'd a routine smear test last month and the nurse found a polyp right across my cervix. She referred me to have it remove. After the smear test I was bleeding for two weeks which never happened before with my previous smear tests, so I went to another nurse who did an internal exam and said she could see a small polyp. However, this morning I went to the hospital gynaecology dept to have the polyp remove but the doctor there couldn't see the polyp! Could my polyp had fallen out after me smear test? Maybe the bleeding was from the burst polyp? Anyone experienced this before?
