Best contraceptive pill for female pattern hair loss/PCOS??

I have female pattern hair loss and I'm sure I have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome as I have all the symptoms so I want to take the contraceptive pill to lessen the symptoms. My question is, will any combined contraceptive pill be effective in lessening my problems like Microgynon 30 ED® which contains ethinylestradiol 0.03mg / levonorgestrel 150mcg or will only a pill containing ethinylestrodiol (oestrogen) and an anti-androgenic progesterone like Yasmin and other low-dose combined oral contraceptives with minimal androgen effect containing ethinylestrodiol and desorgestrel, gestodene or norgestimate work for me? It's just that pills containing levonorgestrel or norethisterone are cheaper :( will they not help me? do I need to buy Yasmin or Gedarel??

Sorry I can't help specifically with what your asking. But I have PCOS and I have the mirena coil fitted. It's stopped my horrid painful and extra long periods so helped me in that way

Hope someone else is better at giving you the advice you need. Good luck

Dianette, Yasmin & Yaz are anti androgenic pills. Dianette is one of the older style pills but not sure if prescribed asmich due to risk of blood clots.
