Hi all,

I have just started Alizonne. I went to the clinic in London, it's just off Oxford St. I was a bit disappointed they didn't explain some things properly and didn't explain the price either. However I do desperately want to lose weight and keep it off so I decided go with it.

For those of you looking to do it, I want to let you know the price in full so you can make an informed decision. They charge for consultation. ...can't remember how much. I think it was £100 and £99.50 for a blood test at the consultation. You can't start until your bloods come back ok. You also have to buy a starter pack for £85 which consists of a body suit you wear for the endermologie treatments, and a shaker. Also there is a folder of info and a recipe book but I think for the price it's a total rip off. Also £84 for the full supliment pack. These are the things they done tell you about at the consultation so you are slapped with nearly £300 costs before you start buying food or treatments. I was upset cos it's not cheap and I specified I can only have halal or vegetarian supplement but the magnesium tablets have animal products. I will be returning these.

There are a lot of supplements to take morning and evening which I find it hard to take as I don't like swallowing pills. the calcium tablets are chewable. There is an ampoule of salt water to drink twice a day too which is vile and has made me vomit. its supposed to help maintain your blood pressure but apart from that taking 7 sachets of food with 2 veg or salad meals, one for lunch and one for dinner with your alizonne sachet is fine. There are specific vegetables you can some are limited to 200g per day.

In comparison to Cambridge weight plan although Alizonne is a lot more expensive the food is much better and as the vitamins are not added to the sachets you can do a lot more with it and experiment with cooking which I missed with the CWP. There is no bitter after taste and I don't feel ill after having a meal as I did on Cambridge.

So far after 3 days I have lost 4 lbs and will be a lot more by the end of the week. I have been told it will take me 20 weeks to lose 17 kg. 12 weeks on phase 1.

Per week on phase 1 costs £217 .... £125 for ultrasound and endermologie and £18.50 ×5 for the food sachets.

They provided me with a recipe book which is good. I look forward to trying the different recipes.
