c section concerns

I'm 3 and a half weeks postpartum and I have noticed a hard ridge in my belly, above my wound but below my belly button.
I think its probably just scar tissue but it's feeling rather tender.
I just woke up for the night feed and I feel very bruised along there.
I am starting to regain a little feeling along the area but still feel very numb.

I know it will be another call to my GP but in the meantime, has anyone experienced this? I'm a little worried.

I had that too for a good few weeks after. Now DD is 16 weeks and it's all soft (and wobbly!) although still slightly numb feeling around my scar. The hard and lumpy bits are just scar tissue and will go down over time. If you're in pain though prob best to check with GP in case of infection

Yes I had this exactly as you describe. Probably at about the same point post partum too. I'm now 15 months down the line with no problems. Numbness has all gone, still a little bit of a hard feeling above where the scar line (not painful though) is but this is just my 'new' normal. If you're worried please see your GP, but it sounds fairly normal from my experience
