Migraine prevention and tinted glasses?

I'd really appreciate any advice or insight that anyone with experience or knowledge of this can offer.
I suffer from migraines and they are almost certainly caused by flickering overhead lighting. I've started looking at on line information about anti-migraine specs. Seemingly the most effective colours for different 'migraineurs' (love that word, btw Grin ) are very subjective, IYSWIM.

Has anyone used anti-migraine glasses? How do/did you find it, if so?

No but very interested.

I just wear a stupid hat with a big brim if I feel I'm going to be triggered by lighting. I seem to be ok as long as the light itself is out of my sightline.

I'd do the same, Doc, but at work it's not really an option.
And the problem with the specs is that they look creepily Bono-esque.
Maybe a ridiculous hat is in fact the lesser of two evils... Sad

Light hurts. Even a short trip outdoors with no sunglasses is bound to bring in the migraine. Flickering lights are definitely no no. I but huge sunglasses with wide sides to cover eyes well, but I've never used indoor glasses so not able to help. Recent summers have been bad where even indoors seems too bright, so am considering indoor glasses next summer.
