Worried about mole

I have had some moles before that turned out Ok, but I think one on my upper arm which has been a paleish lumpy for as long as I remember has got a tiny bit bigger and maybe pinker, arm when I think about it is a bit itchy!

I have had a dreadful year dh threatened suicide late last year and was in a secure psychiatric ward for a while. My lovely 10 year old dd was diagnosed with PTSD as she witnessed it all.
Dh and dd are both doing well, but after propping everybody up for months I seem to be a bit health anxious. I got in a bit of a state about blood test last week because I am on BP tablets .
I can't get a routine appointment until 18th of this month and I feel wrong to take an emergency.
Sorry for going on!

So you are wandering whether this mole is a problem or whether it maybe because you have become more sensitive to health issues.
This mole maybe a bit bigger and a bit pinker. You are more aware of it and therefore you are touching it more - this could account for the irritation.
I have had had health anxiety - I learnt to manage it. I sometimes hear its voice but I also hear the voice of reason now, but it took a while! Health anxiety is hideous.
My health anxiety started when family members became unwell and I became super sensitive. I am not saying this is how it is for you but it may be similar.
Only you can judge whether this mole requires an immediate appointment. You could make the app on the 18th and see if it changes at all while you wait - but from my experience of HA I was checking body parts every few hours and a Doctors visit would reassure me until I got a new symptom.
Sounds like you have had moles checked out before- what do you think they would say with this one? If a friend showed you this mole and asked you your opinion what would you say?
Sometimes we are more rational when giving advice to others and more emotional with ourselves.
