The summer lurgy... What's going on?

I started feeling a bit off over the weekend, but a week later, I still feel wretched. My head is still a bit sore, but I have a racking chesty cough and am unable to sleep. I don't think it's a chest infection. Yet. All my orifices are dribbling (TMI sorry) and I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this?

I've had it for 3 weeks now. Alongside pain from a bulging lumbar disc (on crutches) and being pregnant (36 weeks). Life is a joy!

Aye! DC2 though so more terrified than excited. The first 6 months with DD were soooooo hard!

It could be much easier (ho hum) this time round. They're all so different. DD1 was very straightforward. As a baby.

I've had another sort of summer lurgy, I've been told that it's doing the rounds.
I felt very sick, hot, headache and generally felt like a wet lettuce. It lasted for three or four days. Anyone else have this?

my whole household has had sickness and diarrhoea lasts about 4/5 days worst stomach cramps ever!! on the plus side I've lost weight....

Not sickness, but certainly loss of appetite. I'm going to the gp today as it's reasonably unlikely to go coughing and spluttering for more than a week without infection setting in. Not sleeping much either. Bugger. Horrible.

Had this cold/cough last week, dribbling and no sleep! Stopped after five days of hacking. DH came home last night and said he thinks he has the cold and then woke me up at 3am throwing up!

Is it the same thing? We live in the SE.

How are you feeling EasyToEatTiger?
