Just had Fenton's procedure, anyone else?

I had a c section 4 years ago, then, weirdly, tore a little most times I had sex.
I had a Fenton's procedure done under general anaes yesterday. I'm a bit sore today, but the only taken 2 co codamol so far. I may take some paracetamol now. Any other Fentoners out there? anyone considering it and want to ask questions?

I feel like I've been kicked between the legs a lot, and I still seem to be spot bleeding. I received no written post operative guidance from the hospital, so I've had to glean stuff from other hospital's websites and a call to the ward. What can I say - I really really hope the surgery works. I think I've driven myself a bit mad reading message boards about the procedure. I almost feel like apologising for starting another.

I'll update this in case anyone ever reads it. I had the op 6 days ago, and I've been very close to going to the GP because I've felt so sore and exhausted. I wondered if I had an infection. BUT ... I've woken up today feeling better. Not so sore, not so tired. I may update again...

Sorry I didn't see this thread sooner, but I had a fenton's about four years ago. I felt better quite quickly, so if you're still feeling bad tomorrow, I'd definitely go back to the doctor.

I'm pleased to say that it did help things in that department in the long term though...

Hi rallytog. I'm very happy that it worked for you. I feel better again today, so no trip to GP needed.

Hi LightsOnNotIn, I was referred yesterday by my GP for this procedure so am investigating/terrifying myself looking into it today. Pleased to hear you are feeling better and hope you have continued to improve.
Rallytog- glad you had a positive experience and that it helped long term, you have given me hope!

I ended up with a post op infection, and then an abscess. I was put on antibiotics, tablets for thrush and a cream. It's now 5 weeks since the op and only now can I really say I feel better. It wiped me out! I still feel twinges down there which I'm hoping will ease.
