Can anyone recommend a suitable remedy please for my 5 year old son who has just gone back to school (year 1). He doesn't write, can't hold a pen properly and whereas in reception he really didn't care he seems to think now that everyone else can and he needs to be able to do it too. It's knocked his confidence so much that he is even telling me now that he can't read whereas in fact he has the reading ability of about a 7 year old.

TIA

Anacardiumis the one for confidence. Unless your son is blonde/fair skinned, then pulsatilla would be the first one to try.Theres also bach flower remedys for confidence, but cant recall at the moment!

Id give it to him just before he goes to school (and not straight after breakfast).
One 30c sugar tablet, sucked, or held in cheek, should show results fairly quickly.
I'd love to hear how he gets on

I'd see a homoeopath as the wrong remedy could cause more problems. It should be a homoeopath who gives only one dose of a single remedy (and this after taking the whole case) - not a course of treatment. If you are in the south of England I can recommend some excellent homoeopaths.

What Tooticky said is right , seeing a registered Homeopath can give an exact remedy for him based on him on a whole.
It is based on the person, and what one person has precribed for say sickness, will be a wrong thing for another with the same problem IYSWIM!
