Thats it really, noticed it last night when I was getting changed but didn't think anything of it as I was tired but just checked again and its still there.

Trying not to google as I'm scared enough as it is, can anyone offer any advice? Thanks in advance.

You don't panic, and you don't google. You book a GP appointment as soon as possible and get it checked out. x

Yes, everything that SparklingBrook says. Hope everything's ok but please, please don't Google!

Go to the GP. They'll probably refer you for a specialist appointment/scan within a couple of weeks.

Agree with previous posters - see the gp and get checked out. Don't google, you'll either scare yourself or read something very inaccurate. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about.

Did you manage to get an appointment today, OP? I hope everything went well.

Sorry was at work all day!! Yes got an appointment 1st thing, Doctor said he could see the dimple and had a good feel about but is sure its nothing to worry about, but is referring me to the breast clinic just in case.

Feeling a lot better now and thank you for your messages

Ohh that's great news. Yes, you are better going to the breast clinic and I'm sure they'll fit you in quickly so don't panic if they do! I'm glad he was so reassuring.

Just an update, I got a letter back from hospital and they said the consultant is reviewing my referral letter and they will send me out a letter 6 weeks before my appointment. I don't know but it seems a bit of a long time to wait.

I might be wrong here but in my mums case she was told all referrals had to be seen at the breast centre within the two weeks?

6 weeks does seem like an awfully long time to wait?

All possible cancers should be seen within 2 weeks by a specialist. The odds are vastly in your favour that it is benign and nothing as your GP said, but sounded as if he was putting you on the 2 week wait just in case. Chase it, that's too long to wait.

Yes I think 6 weeks is too long, I'm scared enough as it is so am going to go back to my gp as soon as I can get an appointment and also ring the hospital and find out why I have to wait so long.

I don't think its anything serious but if it is, these 6 weeks could make a big difference.

Thanks again for your replies :)

And while you wait, just wanted to add that I found a dimple years ago - in my 40s - and it was simply ageing boob Blush

Absolutely right to get checked though. xx
