Didn't know the best place to put it but hopefully someone can help. I'm a little unsure to whether or not I'm experiencing thrush? There's no itching or discomfort..but every now and again I can actually feel the excess discharge occurring (similar to being able to feel af) if that makes sense. It can either be watery or (more often) thick and sticky. It's been on and off for a little under a week and I didn't know whether or not this could be a sign of early pregnancy (possible but probably unlikely) or thrush? I'm due af tomorrow but experiencing no signs or symptoms of it being on its way. I never experience this at any time of the month and if it is thrush that will definitely be a first for me. I've read a few home remedies like natural yoghurt and even cucumber in the underwear? I have neither of those so have resorted to sudocrem on a pad, that might be completely pointless but I didn't know what else to do. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you in advance and apologies if I posted in the wrong place.

There's not always itching with thrush. I had it for ages with the symptoms you are describing (excess discharge) and thought it couldn't be thrush as there was no itching or discomfort
If you've never had thrush before its advisable to get it diagnosed by a doctor as the symptoms could be something else.
Sudocrem on a pad will do nothing.
There are over the counter remedies available.
Yoghurt is an old fashioned remedy but I'd be more inclined to get a pessary or tablet from the chemist.

Is it possible/likely to clear itself up obviously with daily showers and thorough cleaning?

No it won't clear up by itself. I was hoping that it would but nope didn't shift till I had a course of pessaries, I feel much more comfortable now, so glad I got it sorted! I am pregnant to!

Is there anything you can buy that isn't necessarily for thrush that will help? In other words, what can I get that hasn't got "thrush" written all over it.

What's wrong with thrush related products? If you think you may pregnant and you've never had thrush then you need to get to the dr's not buy potions from across the counter in the hopes something will work!

Why not go to the GP? It may not be thrush.

I had it at the very beginning of my pregnancy, before I even knew I was pregnant and got the cream and pessary. The only thing you can't use whilst pregnant is the oral tablet.

Excess cleaning can encourage it.

chemists sell thrush treatments every day. nothing to feel embarrassed about.
better to go to the doctors though as you can't be sure it definitely is thrush.

I dont really think I'm pregnant..although it does happen when you least expect it. this is just why I'm a bit confused as it really isn't as bad as youd think thrush would be. Like you wouldn't notice to look at, its only because i can feel it. i know that no 2 cases will be the same but does that sound like thrush to anyone? (I know no one will know..but just wanted opinions)

I sometimes get the discharge first with no pain or discomfort til later on. No harm in getting some treatment just in case. It's horrible once it gets going.
