TwoHoles Update!

Well name change says it all really.

Had hysteroscopy and polyp removal, foolowed by my designer fanjo op-went like a dream I think.

Am told there are stitches but haven't been brave enough to venture anywhere near it if I am honest.

Worst painis actually my thoat-assuming from the anaesthetic tube (NOT surgeon's knob as some kindly soul suggested )

So,I now have an exciting life to look forward -to-tampons which don't leak,un-painful sex (well any sex would be good to be honest)and if I really want to go for it-a mooncup...yay!

Thanks for all your good wishes and humour through this.

Well the surgeon's opening remark to meon entering my room was "so are you ready for your "interesting" operation"....this was the man who said it was never a good thing to be told one was an interesting case.

Have to go back and see him in three weeks to check the two cut edges have not healed together -bloody hope not!

bless you twoholes

remembering way back to my nursing days, I belive they called your op 're-fashioning'

so there you go, you are now fashionable.

just remember to take a
jug to the loo with you when you pee, you'll soon be on the mend.

tell your dh that intercourse is out for several weeks and that he must find other 'less intrusive' ways to make you feel better

twoholesbecameone - i've just read this and am worried as i too have issues with leaking tampons. sorry to ask a question that you have already answered a million times i expect but did you have any other problems other than the tampon?

Thank you all-teill haven't been brave enough to "explore" the cavern which now exists down there

SpanielEars-I alwasy knew I had this problem though whenever I mentioned it over the years I was laughed at or dismissed. It wasn't very obvious admittedly as "one hole was dominant" but when I told my gynae I was worried about birth as I thought I was deformed he just brushed me off.

Anyway, had to see GP (same on also who pronounced me quite normal during pg)about bleeding between periods and then "MADE" her find my second orifice. She did and was staggered and very sympathetic and arranged for me to see another gynae-the rest is history!

Glad you came through the surgery well! I had just the ablation and the polypectomy myself a few weeks ago and that was quite enough, thanks.
Hope your refashioning gives you many happy moments once all is healed up, so to speak!
