<klaxon> grape sized lump... hurts to sit down...

Wahhhh...

I've had this lump on my labia for many years now, hard but painless.

Since a few days ago - I blame spin class - it's got really big, red and painful. It's the size of a large grape and is mostly hard. I've had mag sulph paste on it, germolene, hot baths, tentative squeezes... nothing - It's hard to dress too, thanks to the location.

I've had similar before, hence my mag sulph knowledge, but this just doesnt seem to be coming to a head, paracetamol and ibuprofen are not touching the pain.

Any ideas???

Ooh brilliant. I had similar recently, more pea sized though. It became a bit itchy, but couldn't be squeezed. One day I looked down whilst on the loo and a yellow head/blister had formed! Imagine my joy Grin Anyway, have it a quick squeeze and it exploded extremely satisfyingly and then bled loads. Now I am completely lump free and have happy memories of the point at which it exploded Grin

Not helpful I know but thought I'd share. Good luck

I just want to see a head! If there was, then I'd attempt to pop it... You can't go popping with no head... can you? (hopeful)

Could it be a batholin cyst? Can you see the gp?

Nah I'd say not. Basically I think I irritated mine by fiddling with it (which you've done by doing spin) and the head formed on its own. Have patience!

I've had this! Had to flash my bits at the gp and he gave me antibiotics. It went away very quickly after that.

"I just want to see a head"!! That conjures up all sorts of images!!
Sorry! You have my sympathy OP! Sounds very very painful!

I had one before above the cleft of my bum. Again was skin coloured and caused no discomfort until I started Pilates. (I blame the sports centre!)

It got grape sized too and hit the bathroom wall when it finally popped.

Bath once ds in bed then a good fiddle, have searched the mn sporn archives and am going to try the hot flannel and wooden spoon trick.

Also currently on my 2ww and feel very nauseous but not sure what to blame

Feeling v sorry for self

GP is a plan I think. I wouldn't go messing with my fanjo, and I normally love a good squeeze :)

Report
Sparklingbrook · 14/04/2014 19:53

I know about the hot flannel but what are you doing with the wooden spoon?

Report
KatoPotato · 14/04/2014 20:54

Biting down on it maybe? No the plan is you wrap the flannel dipped in boiling water around the spoon then hover it near the boil...

I've had a bath, taken some penicillin and am now sitting with the blue cool pack down my trousers for glorious relief!

Will phone gp in the morning

Oh I thought the spoon was for whacking it with or something.

Plum? I am no Doctor but that sounds not good. Sad
