Hello, since my last baby was 4 months old (she's now 2) I have had periods of symptoms that wax and wane but don't completely go.

When I first started getting ill my symptoms started with
Excessive sweating whilst walking and exercise and cleaning
Muscle twitches
Extreme tiredness
Dizziness
Weird anxiety rushes
Period lengths had changed Ect

So I went through lots of blood tests and all came back 'normal' apart from the my vitamin D levels which were low (at a 7)
So I'm on Vit D supplements and it did improve the tiredness for about 2 weeks but the tiredness has now returned even tho I'm taking my Vit D. The docs say there is nothing wrong with me but my body tells a different story. I can't exercise because I get tired so easily. My body can't physically cope with exercise and my body an face overheat.

The doc said the excessive sweating can't be explained and I have to just deal with it.

Now last year they tested my TSH which was 2.7 at first, then I got re tested months later and it was down at 1.54. The doc said these fluctuations are normal but something is niggling in my
Mind that something isn't right. I've been referred to the hospital and they have said they tested my thyroid and that it's 'normal' but I think they only texted my TSH nothing else!

I don't know what to do anymore!!!! Hmm

Sounds like you're in the peri menopause to me. Not sure how old you are, but I started like this when I was about 41/42. I was very anxious, sleeping badly, sweating, twitching and tired. I'm now on hrt and hopefully nearly through the worst. Fluctuations in hormones are normal, but there is something you can do about it. I'd get back to the docs and ask them to see if they can test your hormone levels if they haven't already.
Check out menopause matters website. Symptoms listed on there to cross-check!

I'm only 26 so hope I'm not hitting menopause just yet lol

I've been to docs they say they have checked everything but I just can't believe that as truth when I'm still ill!

Have you had a thyroid antibody test?

I'm sure plenty of posters will be along to shout 'nonsense' at what I'm about to say, but it may be worth looking to Chinese medicine. The Chinese culture sees pregnancy and birth (arguably rightly so) as hugely depleting for a woman's body, a new mum is cosseted and nursed back to full health in the weeks after giving birth, unlike here we we dive straight back into our day to day melee as if we had only popped to the shops for a day Smile. Take a look at this link and see what you think, at the very least you can try the dietary approach, if you are persuaded, then see a practitioner for herbal remedies alongside?

No I don't think they tested that. They don't test for anything else unless they consider the TSH to be abnormal but in my case they don't.

I'm sick of it tbh!

My heart rate is now 44 beats per minute when it's supposed to be 60 as well, what ever this is it's making me have more palpitations than I used to Hmm

As your Vit D is low has any one looked at your Calcium levels. Many GP's don't realise how poorly raised calcium can make you feel.
Suggest you look up Hyperparathyroidism (not scarey at allSmile)
Sorry can't do links.
It made me feel like rubbish!!

Sammy I was in your postion and I was sure it was my thyroid I requested the dr included a antibody test an hey ho I do infact have hashimoto thyroiditis so my tsh was within range as it was a force between the hypo and hyper autoimmune diseases.

Might be worth a try.
