A mooncup I gather...what do you want to know?

Report
MrsBadcrumble · 02/08/2006 20:54

Bear down and rock it back and forth?

Is it one of those you've bought?

Or a rampant rabbit, in which case, well, the above advice probably isn't that far off the mark either.

Report
FrannyandZooey · 02/08/2006 20:58

Ok is it meant to have such great suction that you have to slide it down and then it off one of your labia?

erm no. i usually give the base a little squeeze and a twist and it un-suctions itself

Report
lemonaid · 02/08/2006 21:02

Oh yes, definite schlurpage. Although I think I manage to break the schlurpy seal before I get as far as my labia. If you can get your thumb and finger to grip it by pushing in slightly above the base of the cup bit, thus breaking the seal, it's less schlurpy than if you just try to yank it out by the stem.

I soooo knew it would be a mooncup

Report
FrannyandZooey · 02/08/2006 21:05

Ok. That's good advice.

The other thing is, I have rather long nails. This doesn't seem to be compatible with mooncup use, so far. Have others found this or am I doing it wrong?

FrannyandZooey · 02/08/2006 21:17

LOL ds found it in its cute little box and pouch earlier

"What's this mummy?"

"Oh it's my new mooncup." (straight answer usually ends the subject faster I have found)

"What's it for?"

"Oh, for collecting stuff."

"Mummy, why aren't you eating out of your new egg cup?"

PMSL!

I found it best to trim the relevant nails at first (internal pinching - ouch! ), but once you get used to it you may not need to trim them.

You definitely shouldn't be sink-plungering your labia, by the time it gets that far most of the suction should be gone. Try rocking or spiraling it out so that it comes out one edge at a time rather than all in one go. Bearing down and flapping your lips helps.

No, not those lips!

The ones about a metre or so above them when you stand up.
