Ok I know i've been stupid and |I honestly haven't burnt for years as i'm always careful..till today! I slathered the sunblock on the kids but wanted factor 16 for me, sil said she couldn't find it , I meant to look for it in a bit and forgot then proceeded to kayak down the River Dee, of course because of the breeze I didn't feel like I was burning but I did. Oh how I did, my arms , face and back are really red and hot. i have no aloe vera in or after sun what can i do to relieve the burn? Help!!

If you have any witch hazel this is fantastic for sunburn....even better if you get the witch hazel gel and keep it in the fridge!
If you really have nothing that will help then keep putting cold flannels on to help cool the skin down, change them frequently though because they'll soon heat up with your skin on fire!
Also drink plenty of water, if you haven't already, you don't want to end up dehydrated too!!
All other suggestions are also fab I must add!!

OUch, on your behalf!!

If you can stand it, have a shower as hot as you can take it - it really takes the sting out and I should know, I have VERY fair skin and grew up in South Africa.
