do you know what? i have never found it to be a problem...
my pf is in good nick and always was before, as i have always enjoyed a bit of what southeastastra calls 'clenching' in a boring situation. at traffic lights, long bank queues,IYKWIM?
and the sexual frustration situation is easily rectified... i hope i don't sound unsympathetic but can't you just do the deed? ;)

and by 'the deed' i mean with or without company...

yes, but for me it is not a feeling of pleasure or arousal, rather real frustration. not sure if i know how to explain it well, but it is not a good feeling really. i suppose i could try to do the deed and see if it eases, but it doesn't feel that way. mmm. any others feel the same?

what do you mean though? perhaps you're doing too much?

maybe it doesn't feel so good because it is weaker, so you might just have to grin and bear it for a while but it might get better. actually, now that i think about it, it didn't feel so good for about a month after i had the baby but i did persevere after an embarrassing coughing incident. yeah, that's right, i remember now, rather than the frankly semi-masturbatory experience i enjoy now it felt kind of empty, hollow IYKWIM?
are you sure you are doing them properly? the best advice i ever got was to imagine you are sucking a tampon up inside you. somehow, that really helped me to get them right.
anyway, good luck with your poor pelvic floor, at least you know you aren't a freak.

oh hooray aitch - maybe thats it. my pelvic floor is incredibly weak after having had a mild prolapse after ds2 birth, and have just had ds3 by c/s. i think i do it right, don't think that is the problem. so ok, on your word i am willing to grin and bear it in the hope that it will get better (and then maybe i can too 'get off on it'). hooray, spontaneous orgasm, here i come....

been referred for a bit of physio on my downstairs also, so maybe that will help get it into nick a bit faster.

No surroundedbyboys. you are not alone. My pf is incredibly week (and my younbgst is 2). I have always had a problem doing the execises. For me, it is just too uncomfortable.

I get funny tingling in my feet when i do them, what the hell is that about?

naswm · 22/07/2006 22:04

how low did your pf fall then pelvicfloornomore????

naswm - thats the depressing thing - we are the ones who need to do it the most, but find it too uncomfortable. how would you describe the feeling? i need to describe it to the physio woman i think - because i guess its all nerves and muscles down there and they are pretty interelated.
while i'm embarressing myself i'll ask - do you find it easy to orgasm from penetrative sex. oooooh lord, can't believe i'm asking these questions

tingling in your feet - bloody hell, we are all freaks!!!

shit didn't think it was that bad !
Does that mean i have a prolapse between by toes?

SSSandy · 22/07/2006 22:07

LOL this cracks me up! It has also motivated me to do the exercises.

am soooo regretting asking that further question now. probably far TMI, but my theory is my nerves and muscles are a bit buggered up and that's why i don't find it easy to orgasm that way.
