Ok... yesturday i trod on a bee in the garden and it stung my toe (after spending all week telling children to be V careful not to stand on bees!)
When it stung me it hurt.... i put anthisan on it straight away and after 10 mins didnt hurt that much at all

but today it relly hurts... is it normal for bee stings to still hurt lots the next day?
Ive never been stung before
I have also applied wasp eze today but it hasnt done a lot to be honest.
Any tips to stop it hurting or do i just have to bear it?
TIA

It may be that the sting is still in. You'll be able to see it as a blackish dot if its there try and ease it out with tweezers. Bee stings do tend to be much sorer than wasps stings you could also take something like ibuprofen to help with the inflammation.HTH

I suppose the only way to tell will be to see if it stops hurting in the next couple of hours. Poor u. Take some Ibruprofen and put shoes on in the garden

LOL.... u are not the 1st persom to tell em to put shoes on...

BUT when its soo hot.... i spend most of the day bare footed.

Will be more careful in future... and it has taught me and hopefully the children that we really mustnt stand on bees!

Its all ive been saying all week.... "be very careful not to stand on the bees in the garden!"

For future reference - best not to use tweezers as it can squeeze the venom in quicker.

If you can, push it out from the opposite end with your finger nail, so that you are pushing it straight back out the way it went in like a splinter.

You could try taking Piriton or similar. My GP recommended this to me a few years ago.
