JUst don't feel like myself. Feel lethargic and tired and have no energy or enthusiasm for anything atm. It's not like me and I hate feeling like this.

I literally feel that I could go an sleep on a washing line. I used to go out jogging but haven't in ages cause I can't be arsed.

Had a m/c in April, and it's ever since then really. No one else has noticed, just me. Like I'm 'pretending' everyday. Does that make sense?

Pobably no answers really, just good to share it.

You are depressed.

Go and get some blood tests done at the GPs - they will probably suggest you have them done for thyroid, anaemia and maybe diabetes.

You need to go for a good stride on the stray, take a letter to your unborn baby and burn it, at Tewitts well.

Then come home, open a bottle of fizz and toast your angel.

i know how you feel, maybe its underlying depression from your m/c? i dont know if its the same but i felt useless like i had failed when i had my m/c i found just taking it a day at a time and talking to people really helped, maybe try just doing a few small tasks a day rather than thinking you need to do loads and overloading yourself. i hope you perk up a bit soon

OMG LGJ your post has brought tears to my eyes. Perhaps I should do that.

When I first had m/c and people suggested this I thought it all sounded so melodramatic and I was coping just fine. Now, I don't know........

Have you had your thyroid/anaemia levels checked since the mc? I agree with LGJ that you sound depressed and that may be down to your feelings over the mc. However, having had both depression and low thyroid levels they both make you feel exactly as you are describing. Have you been to see your GP? I would go just to rule out anything more than feeling down and it can make a huge difference to tell someone who isn't close to you how you are feeling. There are lots of ways and means of helping you to feel better without resorting to medication.

I wish I had done it.

My closure came two years later, when I bought lights to light on the Hospice Christmas tree. I had moved south at that time, but had lost my baby in Harrogate, so did it and it went on the tree with tag that said for Baby W, who didn't make it.

It gave me so much closure and comfort.

Hi northener,

I think LGJ 's idea is wonderful. Been in a similar situation myself so i can really sympathise. A check up at the docs would prob be a good idea too. Hope you're feeling better soon. These temperatures don't help either eh?
