i've got a crown and for the last few days it has really been sore and painful, like a sharp shooting pain, it is now constant and i want to pull it out. it doesn't seem decayed, does the weather affect crowns? sometimes they hurt when it rains

Not sure but fwiw I reckon that you can still get decay in the remaining tooth underneath iyswim. Dentist for you SEA!

i had a crown w/very little tooth left underneath. sure enough, during pregnancy, my gums receded and decay/infection set in, as the gum receded on the side i couldn't see.

i lost the tooth.

just had two massive fillings yesterday and another next week.

my teeth have been CRAP my entire life - even the baby ones - despite being fanatic about brushing and flossing and not having much sugar in my life - have to be really careful w/my weight now as i tend to have high blood pressure.

ggrrrr.

hope you get it sorted w/as little pain as possible.
