I would say no. there is an excellent book you can buy though - Yoga Mind & Body bu Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre.

You need to join a class to make sure you get the positions/breathing correct, then can use this to practise at home.

Geri Halliwells yoga dvd/video is also pretty good.

If you really don't want to go to a class you'd probably be better off with a DVD than the internet. Have a look here

I agree with Mojomummy, as a Yoga teacher myself I would recommend going to a class for a few months to really understand the breathing techniques and correct posture and then proceed to practice at home. Alot of classes are very relaxed alot of prople ther are beginners. If you really don't want to go to a class then videos or dvd are the next best thing or you can get some good books out there too that take you through step by step.

Can I hijack this a bit?

Hav ejust booked into a yoga class on a wednesday night and am panicking. What am I supposed to wear? Do you wear trainers or not? Are baggy trousers ok, like slightly tighter jogging bottoms with a wide leg. With a vest top? Will I need a sports bra (am 32 F)?

Plus is yoga really hard from the start as I am soooo unflexible, that's why I wanted to do it to improve flexibilty but don't want to die at the first session!

Sorry sebnem!!

I wear tracksuit bottoms that are fairly snug up top but flare out slightly at the bottom and a leothard underneath. You can wear a tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt/vest as long as it is comfortable and not too tight. I am a 34dd and I wear my normal bra for classes, bare feet and bring a jumper or large towel with you because at the end when you do relaxation your body will cool down and you should cover yourself so you can fully relax.
Hopefully you have booked yourself on a mixed or beginners class that is for all levels, don't worry about being unflexible, I teach and I still have quite tight hamstrings. Don't force the stretch don't try too hard and you'll find little by little you're loosen up. Enjoy.

Geri Haliwell's dvd is seconded by me too
You can fast forward the places where she becomes a gobshite and get to the poses and techniques.
The Sun Salutation is wonderful for keeping supple, generating energy and gaining strength.

I've got the same size boobs (when not pg--they're probably a Z cup now) and I'd recommend wearing a sports bra. Take some water to drink afterwards!

Thanks a lot for your help.

Thought it sounded good, it is a beginners/mixed group. Just get really strung out and nervous before anything like this to be honest.

Sorry again for the hijack sebnem!
