lining of womb falling away is this bad

i have been bleeding since the 24 may mostly clots to begin with, doc has givin me iron tablets and tranexamic tablets and some proestrongen (sp)tablets which have not worked to stop the bleeding, today she examined me and said i didnt have polyops(sp)butshe thinks the lining of my womb was falling away, she said i needed to be refered asap and as i have appointment at fertility clinic monday she is writing dr a letter but she didnt go in to detail about what she thought was happening so does anyone have any ideas
