Thats really annoying, how does the mum know its safe for her little girl to sit by your DD. Has DD2 had CP?

my dd2 has had CP, but i have had it twice, so i know sometimes it does happen. if my kids get ill then my dh cant come home. i think i will ask the head to write a letter to parents informing them that a parent has a weakened immune system and just totake extra care.

I would Misdee, we had a similar letter when a sibling had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment so they can do it.

I hope it turns out ok, some people are not aware of the risk it puts others in. Hope the head can inform the other parents.

when the 2 youngest had CP, kept well back from the other mums and let anyone know who came close by to wait that they did have CP. one aprent moved off sharpish, another practically threw her son to me so he could catch it lol.

Don't blame you misdee - I'd be fuming myself (ds2 not had it yet, I'm not immune and I'm asthmatic) - but with your dh's circumstances I'd be livid!

Definitely worth asking the school to send out a letter if you can, I think.
