How long till I have abs of steel?

Does it count if you have to pick the hoop up every 6 seconds?

Will the neighbours be shocked? (I did it in the bedroom with the curtains drawn)

Will I be in total agony tomorrow morning and unable to roll over in bed?

Has anyone else tried it and does it actually work?

Gym?
Aerobics?
Saggars,am psyching myself up to do it tomorrow.
I really need to venture outside though.
Worried,as I bet it's harder in the great outdoors.

I went to a step class last night for the first time ever.
Am fairly fit but surprised how it stretched me.i can understand what they mean now about varying routines.

How is paying a membership fee, getting a babysitter and going to the gym easier than hula hopping in my bedroom for 15 mins?

Fair enough.
It's my social life though, and escape from the children.
I think an aerobics class is fun.

I find you can vary your pace easier on the tough bits. When I'm struggling I set myself markers, next bridge, the bus stop etc. And it's less boring. But you do get the teenage boy comments and the lorries tooting at you Smile

What do the teenage boys say?
And what do you say back??

Franny, get yourself a skipping rope. You can skip indoors or out - it's really good exercise.

Mercy, maybe...I have a dodgy foot which doesn't respond terribly well to impact.

Whenever I put on weight it's round my middle and I have been promised a hula hoop will sort that out :)
