Post partum Issues

Hi all.

I am 7 weeks post partum and wondered if any others have had issues/problems since giving birth?

I ended up back in hospital 18 days PP with an infection that resulted in septicaemia. I was on an IV for 3 days, followed by 5 days of high dose antibiotics. Since I've been out I haven't felt the same. Doctors say (2 weeks ago) I haven't got an infection any more - thankfully (although I can't help but worry). 10 days ago I began having heavy bright red bleeding (doc said it would be a period), 6 days later, it stopped. I had nothing for 2 days, then a day of brown discharge, followed by a white creamy stringy discharge which when going to the toilet, stains the pad a light yellow and smells of urine. Anyone have any idea what this could be? I don't want to start irritating the doctor asking if I have an infection, if its natural after childbirth (this is my first baby).

Any ideas anyone? Xx

I think you need to go back to your doctor and have it checked out. Its hard to say what is normal after birth as everyone is different, but maybe now you have thrush ?
