Weight my little darling porkchop ds this morning and at 20 months he weighs in at 13.2kg.

Wanted to put it in his red book, but I put it in such a safe place I can't find it Blush

Can anybody tell me which percentile he's in? Guessing still 95 or 98... he's a big boy in comparison to his sister Grin

like the idea of burning the charts if I could find them LOL

For me it's just so weird because dd (4.5) now defenitely weighs less than him. Couldn't get her on the scales this morning but last time she had dropped down from her difficultly gained 12 to 10kg due to 3 days of non-eating due to chickenpox. Think she's clawing back up to 12 now though as she's eating like a horse, which is nice.

So I've to Stan & Laurel at home Grin

ROFL
Oh your poor dd.
I gave up on the charts cause the chap was always faling off the 2nd centile. and I was so sick of the black looks the HV were giving.
OHHH hes not really putting on a lot of weight is he....OHHHH

OK - 14.2 puts him over the 91st - about halfway between that and the 98th

chapsmum... dd never actually made it into the percentile

I was sent for all sorts of tests with dd after she was 1 year old and threatened with social services if I didn't attend the clinics, see the doc, see the nutritionist etc... chart! Oh and the HV suggested I strap dd into a high chair and force feed her!

After more than 1 year of tests and visits they finally conceded that dd is just petite. FFS I could have told them that... I'm 1.63m and have a small frame burried underneath all the wobble LOL

One rather large traine pediatrician actually asked me whether there's anybody small in my family... erhem... she was about 4 x my size LOL the cheek of it!

Oh! Can I join in the ritual burning of the evil charts please?! I am not so concerned about the weight chart anymore, as my tiny piglet is clawing his way back up the chart, from not being on it to just over the 9th. At his clinic check up yesterday, his height has dropped from 25th centile at 19 months to between 0.4 & 2nd yesterday at almost 23 months.

Thankfully, my HV is great and was trying to play down her concern, but agree that these books are nothing but trouble!

well that's what I said to them... 'why don't you fckng address real cases of abuse as opposed to bullying a loving, law abiding mother?'... when I was 'threatened' was around the time that little black girl had died out of neglect and abuse by her aunt and uncle, I can't think fo the name now. Heartmum ... totally agree that the books are rubbish... I say as long as the kids alert, active and has tantrums... what could possibly be wrong Grin
