I have been ttc my third for almost a year with not much sucess apart from a chemica pregnancy last august. Af is due anytime now as i am on cd33. But for the last few days i have had what can only be described as green snot like discharge (sorry, sorry, sorry.....) Blush. There is no smell and to my knowledge do not have any infection. It isn't like ewmc, so i am completley lost as to what it is???? It isn't all the time either only every few times i go to the toilet.Has anyone ever experienced anythin glike this? Thank you if you have managed to read this far without heaving BlushSmile

er...personal q - have you had 'unprotected rudies' recently?

Completely aside from the whole ttc angle, get to GP. Green discharge is never good and could well be an infection.

(NB unprotected rudies not necessary to catch infection - stray germ from poo will do it)

Sounds like thrush ie yeast infection. You could get it if the acid/alkaline environment changes or your immune system is suppressed for some reason.

I am very prone to it when preggers. Canestan pessaries work a treat. Check with your GP. Good luck.

CBIA,

Please seek medical advice asap re this matter.

Yellow or green vaginal discharge is usually from an infection.

  • don't panic! It's not lifethreatening, you just need to get it sorted.
  • ring and demand emergency appt at GP
  • you wouldn't neccesarily be showing other signs if it is an infection
  • would avoid sex if poss, and also check if your partner has any symptoms (discharge, pain on weeing, soreness etc) in case he needs treating too
