I dont really know if I can write what happened last night as it is still raw and painful this morning.

I had a terrible terrible panic/anxiety attack, of which was so terrifying I cannot explain just yet and if it wasnt for the most amazing paramedics at 2:00 in the morning I would have ended up being strapped to a bed in A&E. I pleaded and cried with my mum & them not to let them take me as I was so fearful of going back into Chase Farm.

I feel very overwhelmed today , my mum is coming over to look after dd so I can rest in bed. I cant really write to much now as I am very drained. But I feel I will need to talk about it later as I am a bit shell shocked from it right now.

How scary for you, I too sometimes suffer with mild panic attacks - keep meaning to go and see dr but feel that I'm managing them at the moment, for me it's the not knowing when I may have one but as I said they are very mild so in a way I can relate to what you're saying.

Take it easy toaday and as becca said let your mum take over so that you can relax as much as possible.

If you do need to talk off-line then feel free to e-mail me.

Sending you lots of cyber hugs.

That must have been very scary and confusing for you. I hope once the intial shock has worn off you can make some sense out of the attack and work out how to prevent anymore.
I have suffered with this too. So you aren't on your own at all.
Big hugs!

I've been there too Melsy, terrifying isn't it. But they will go away and you will learn how to control them if you feel one coming on.
Lots of hugs (((())))

Melsy - severe panic attacks are the most terrible things. I was 'rescued' once by a paramedic in the middle of the night too.
In all the books it always says that they last a few minutes but I find that if Ive had a really severe one it takes me a couple of days to come to terms with it (because they literally are shocking) so make sure you get lots of rest.
Im sorry - I know Ive probably read this but what medication are you taking at the moment?
