forehead bumps do look impressive but it's the safest part of the head to bump IIRC. That's what the skull is for:). Don't worry.

I do sympathise, I've got a 3yo and he has had some horrible bumps. He has a particular penchant for injuring himself while MIL is watching.Grin I know it's awful when they hurt themselves but it does sound as though she will be OK.

I had an almost permanent bump on my forehead because I was clumsy and went through a phase of swinging on doors. My dad used to tell me it was a rat's egg Shock

Honestly, the forehead is very durable. It's the most common kind of bump. She'll be OK.

She will be ok, my son done this when he was about 2 he fell of the sofa & smashed his forehead on a table, he had a massive golf ball size lump with a bruise, it actually looks worse than it is, i was told by the doctor its a good sign when there is a big bump come out & bruising.

Don't panice & do not read the internet.

TY i'm feeling a bit calmer now. I also banged my head lots as a child remembering one occasion when my dad hung a hammer on the washing line (a bright idea to stop it swinging ..dont ask) but covered it with a sheet i ran under the washing and whacked my head on it! I also was playing round on a chair that spun like a computer chair and spun right off it again on my forhead. Think it must run in the family!
