Dd (22) is an asthmatic, since last week she has had increase in chest pain, decrease in peak flow, increase in needing her Fostair inhaler which she uses as reliever and preventer and increase in periods of tight chest/breathlessness. So today she toddled off to the GP who has diagnosed stress. The GP did not listen to her chest, (DD's asthma is often silent and she gets decreased breath sounds). He told her to carry on and wait until next Wednesday when she sees her consultant. She needs to go back doesn't she and see another GP?
