severe headache and sickness

I have been getting a large amount of severe headaches in the large 6-8 months. But the last two have made me sick too. I can bearly focus when I have a headache and have to lie down. I feel tired all the time, even if I have just got up. I can fall asleep anywhere and fast too. I feel odd and like I'm not really here(if that makes any sense) and I have hearing loss too (i had a hearing check and I have some loss) Could it be to do with my brain or is just migraine?

Migraines can defno make you sick, and they sure sound like migraines.. have you talked to a GP about it all?

Know if sounds silly... but my grandfather had migraines until he cut out all caffeine -- might be worth a try. He says the hardest part is giving up chocolate.

I used to have migraine as a teenager and it came back in my first pregnancy. All the things you describe were part of it - although I didn't have the hearing loss but sometimes I couldn't speak properly. It really is horrible , as zebra says a lot of people find certain foods or stress/ overtiredness can be a trigger. I think mine was linked to hormone changes .
I would see your gp as I think there are a lot of new migraine relieving drugs and I hope it goes away soon. Good luck

mieow , there is a nasty virus around that gives the same symptoms. Because I have the same as you have described and my whole family has too. Do you have a ringing in the ears to???During the night its worse because its quiet. I have been told the hearing loss is becasuse of very hard solid wax. Does it also accompany pains in the face & jaw bones???

Have you been taking anything, migralieve , I am not sure what to take.

You poor thing , you have my sympathies.

Mieow, do you mean you have those symptoms just when you have a migraine or do you have them all the time? If it's the former, then it really does sound like migraine; if you're feeling odd all the time maybe there is something else wrong, perahps anaemia or something. Whatever, a visit to the dr would be a good idea. They have lots of remedies to offer. Also the Migraine Trust has lots of helpful stuff on coping. Hth.
