And is there any way of getting rid of them? Had mine since I was very very little... sleep doesn't help, but mot getting much of it right now so don't tease me and say 8 hours kip!!

Is it a vitamin defficiency or anything as easy as that?

Do you drink alot of coffee/caffeine? Not sure if that would cause it...? Have you ever tried a detox diet, and did that help?

Good question.

I think it's genetic, to some extent.

I've always had them too and now ds does.

Nothing I've ever tried has helped. Sad

Dark circles under the eyes are not necessarily cause by lack of sleep, various things can cause them.

Have you been ill or run down? It would be a build up of toxins, or even dehydration.

Two of the best, and cheapest things you can put on dark circles are mashed banana or avocado and massaging very very gently with the finger next to your little finger every evening whilst applying a good eye cream can help.

Is'nt it also to do with the skin thinning out?

No caffiene no alcohol... good diet... Sad I'lltry the banana!! I can't let myslef be dehydrated with BFing asit makes my milk dissappear so it's not that, I do get run down but I have them even when I'm fighting fit !

The skin thinning out why? I've had them since I was little so it's not age (and I'm 19 now lol)

my dp has dark circles under his eyes and always has.....we have a photo of him when he was about 4 and he has the dark circles on there.
it can be due to having thin skin there and quite common in people who suffer sinus problems.
