Valium anyone

Hi everyone.
Sorry this is a long boring story. 5 yrs ago I had PND and was prescribed seroxat. Got better but then have never been able to get off the seroxat (terrible withdrawal.)
Anyway have now swapped to prozac to try and reduce from that but suffering from bad anxiety (combination of seroxat withdrawal and prozac side effects).
So took small dose of valium for 9 weeks (max 4mgs a day) then reduced down to 1mg a day and then stopped 10 days ago.
Last night had a major panic attack and dr has advised going back on valium while Im reducing the prozac but Im v worried about getting addicted to this as well as the anti depressants.

Has anyone used valium for any length of time or know more about it?
