Dentist has told me that on dd's xray it shows that her 3rd adult tooth on the LH side at front hasn't developed.

Anyone else had this happen?

DP still has a baby tooth! No adult tooth to push it out. Wr were rather hoping DS would get my teeth! Grin

Me too BH. In my case the adult tooth never came through.
What did they do? Errmmm...I still have my milk tooth there, so I'm having to save up the £ to have the milk tooth removed and a fake one put in. At £3K strangely enough I never get around to doing anything about it! :o

Oh loads of stuff but I had several problems. I had a couple of molars at the bottom which didn't develop but they've just been left as you can't see the gaps and it doesn't cause me any problems.

There were also a couple of pre molars at the top which caused me problems. My milk teeth didn't fall out so I had to have an op to remove them, then I had a brace to make space at the top and now I have a couple of falsies in the gap.

I think I had problems because it wasn't spotted until I was about 13 and it sounds as if your daughter doesn't have as many problems as I did.

Chonky - I paid 2.5k for a dental implant on my front tooth. Best thing I ever did.

So hopefully she can just keep her milk tooth?

Have patients that still have babby teeth (and they are in their 40's 50's) however if the tooth has to be lost cosmetic treatments can be pretty good.

I know BH - trouble is something else always seems to take precedence. However, milk tooth still going strong at 31!

Chonky - I only had mine done as front tooth had to come out :( and couldn't bear the awful bridge that I had for a couple of years.
Do feel guilty for spending so much though.
