He's named the boil Edward, which is a bit lost on me!

He's gone to docs this morning so will report back later on Edward's progress/demise.

On the last viewing Edward's head was a dark grey colour.....

The milk bottle trick is when you heat a glass milk bottle in boiling water, slap the opening over the boil and wait for the bottle to cool. As it cools, a vacuum forms in the bottle. Which will usually cause the boil to erupt spectacularly. And conveniently, neatly in the bottle.

I don't know. I think it depends on the size of the boil. I think a clear bottle is best, and the opening has to cover all or most of the boil.

Ummmm, can I and my friend Beryl the Boil join in? I've got her on the inner thigh about an inch wide - she is fat and her skin is sort of grey: she gets greyer in the middle.

Do I need to do anything? Will she depart naturally, or at least slip off before someone asks me to take pix up me kilt and put them on the interweb.
