Diagnosed at 19 after having an implanon in my arm. apparently it put my hormones completely out of whack and caused a few cyst as well.

generally flared up during or after sex and was a stabbing pain really low in my abdomen.
I had 3 laproscopys for it each one getting rid of all of it apparently however it came back with avengence each time.
I had a few courses of tablets which didn't help.
Then got put on monthly injections called triptorelin for 9 months (the mother of all needles!) and have been on my pill back to back for the last 2 years.

Its hardly come back now although that's because of my pill.

have you been diagnosed recently?

It hurts.

I got a lump on the edge of a c section scar, unoperable apparently. Two lots of zolodex helped in short term. I was told to get pregnant to get rid of it. Pain injection on it caused worse pain, nerves went nuts.

My gyni thinks i have this as i have pain and bleeding after sex and he can see a lesion on my cervix which he thinks is this just waiting for smear to come back. Would this explain the awful period pains i have always had? they have always been so painful i can't walk i vomit through pain and get awful dioreeha i also have alot of stomach aches and trouble with holding my urine (i am 25 been happening since i was 22the incontinance issues the rest since my periods started age 13).

Sounds awfully like endometriosis; pain is one of its main symptoms and it would explain the awful period pains you've always had. Pain during sex is yet another indicator.

I've had problems with my periods ever since the onset of menses at 13 years of age. Pain and lots of it in the stomach, womb area, rectum and down both legs (sciatic nerve affected by endometriosis).

Was diagnosed with endo at 31 when undergoing fertility treatment, had laparoscopic type surgery to remove it all. Has recurred since but not as badly. I use the pill and this keeps it in abeyance.

//www.endo.org.uk is a good website.

Yes crawling it does indeed sound a lot like endo, especially the vomiting because of the pain, it is agony and I'm sorry for you. For me it started at 13, and I was told at 24 that I wouldn't be able to have children and I should have a hysterectomy. Happily I ignored that advice and had two children naturally, conceiving straight away both times. So if infertility is worrying you, don't panic. The pain got easier in my mid to late 30s and now in my mid 40s I am very much looking forward to the menopause. Best of luck x

thanks all my gyni also seemed to think it was more likely to be this he was talking as if the smear was just a formality then he could treat me. In a way it makes me feel better my friends used to tease me and say i was a baby yet for me labor and all mine were back to back was just a bit worse than period pains yet they found labors to be excruciating.

Keepyourtitsin thank you its funny even though I've had 3 children I still felt scared at the idea of being infertile and you and everyone here have made me less worried about that.

Thanks everyone.
