Just cut Becky's (19 weeks) nails and she jerked at a crucial time - it is now bleeding and wont stop!

What can i do - have cut a plaster small enough and put on butwill this stop the blood?

Oh, I did this to DD1 when she was 6 months old.

Yes, it will stop, I'd ahve thought. Take the plaster off as soon as you can to help it scab. (according to DD1's ballet etacher?!)

Apply pressure and raise it, if you can, to stop the blood flow.

I did this to Theo when he was 2 weeks old (he was born with talons!) I held a damp cotton ball on it for ages...he was fine, but I've been scared of nail-clippers ever since!

(I was just cutting Sophia's nails...weird lol)

well it seems to have settled - the fresh air for an hour may have helped!

Will remove the blood soaked plaster whne she lets me near her again Sad
