Ages ago on MN (Sept/Oct?) there was a discussion about dental phobia and I said I was putting off making an appointment but at the same time was trying to encourage someone else with a phobia that they would be ok at their visit the next day - well, I finally got round to making the appointment today as I was so nearby the surgery I couldn't find an excuse not to.
I was also nervous that I might have been taken off the list for not going in time (NHS dentist, a rarity around here), but it was ok. I have to wait ages for appointment but I don't care, I'm just proud to have made one. Every time it is a massive struggle to overcome my nerves!
